I believe that it is important for my staff and myself to have a very warm close experience with our patients. We would like to have the patients pre-interviewed before they could even come to the office by sending them materials and information about the surgery that they might be interested in. When you come to the office, you will see my receptionist, who will notify the rest of the staff of your presence and give you any additional forms that might be required. You will then be ushered into a consultation room, in which one of my nurses and most likely my cosmetic coordinator will meet with you and discuss your previous medical history, what you are here to see me about, and what other surgical procedures you might have in your general health. I will then meet with you and will go over your particular situation, your particular needs and desires, and we will try to come up with a treatment plan for you. If necessary, you will also meet with my aesthetician if that is in order and then you can meet with our financial coordinator who will go over with the costs of anesthesia, operating room, and any additional course that might be required for the surgery. After the consultation, my staff sends out letters and gives phone calls to answer any additional questions and I always offer my patients the ability to speak with other people who have gone through the same procedure, so they can get a good insight as to what it would be like for them. Following the surgery, we closely monitor the patient, and the following day, myself or one of my staff will call the patient to see how they are doing, making sure that everything is going well, and we are always available 24 hours a day if the patient has a problem or question or concern.
